A Transformative Journey of Faith
Pastor DaShaun's spiritual journey began at the tender age of 10 when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and personal Savior. His profound commitment was ignited once again on June 7, 1996, when the Holy Spirit led him to rededicate his life to Christ. From that moment forward, he was wholeheartedly dedicated to glorifying God and serving His church.
Called to Serve in Ministry
In 2000, as a devoted member of Rhema Word Kingdom Ministries, under the leadership of Elders Gerald L. Glasper and Toni Glasper, Pastor DaShaun recognized his divine calling to ministry. By 2005, he was officially licensed as a minister, and in May 2009, he was elevated to the esteemed position of ordained Elder. Pastor DaShaun was not only a preacher but also a prophet, powerfully engaging in the ministry of healing and deliverance, standing firm on the scripture from Numbers 23:19—“God is not a man, that he should lie..."

For 11 years, Pastor DaShaun led the “Men of Rhema” men’s ministry, where he served selflessly as a vessel for God. He inspired countless men to deepen their faith, guiding them on a journey toward becoming more Christ-like and embodying the principles of discipleship.
As a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Pastor DaShaun was not only blessed to reach God’s people in the pulpit on Sunday mornings with his powerful, life-changing preaching, but also in numerous, prolific, and profound ways. One such way was in the “Dove” foundation award-winning movie “Believe: The Misfit Pawn,” where Pastor DaShaun portrayed a "fiery" preacher giving such a powerful message that it puts the entire congregation in a newfound awe of their God!
Another blessed display of how the Lord used Pastor DaShaun can be found in the recently released Christian magazine “The Shepherd's Staff.” Pastor DaShaun not only gave a passionate, introspective interview, which captivated and drew the reader into a deeper understanding of where his true strength came from, but he also elegantly graced the cover of the magazine.
Finally, Pastor DaShaun could be heard every Thursday at 5:30 a.m. on WYCA 102.3 FM Radio. “WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!” This was the clarion call that he made to every believer in the Body of Jesus Christ on his weekly program – “The Gospel Alarm Clock!” He taught and preached boldly with Holy-Ghost-Fire that – “THE TIME OF THE VISITATION OF THE LORD IS NOW!”

Academic Excellence and Leadership
Pastor DaShaun pursued higher education at Western Illinois University and DePaul University, majoring in Marketing and Finance with a minor in Psychology. His academic achievements earned him recognition as a “Who’s Who” among college students nationwide. At Western, he was an active member of the “PHI-BETTA-LAMBDA” business fraternity and the “PHI-THETA-KAPPA” honors fraternity.
A Heartfelt Message of Love
Pastor DaShaun's mission was clear: to ensure that every child of God knows the everlasting love of their heavenly Father. He warmly invited everyone to make House of Mercy Everlasting their spiritual sanctuary, often greeting them with a heartfelt "Welcome HOME."
A Lasting Legacy
In August 2023, Pastor DaShaun went HOME to glory, leaving behind a rich legacy of faith and love. He was married to his devoted wife, Shontée, for 21 years, who now serves as the Senior Pastor of House of Mercy Everlasting. Pastor DaShaun was also the proud father of two sons, Brandon and Gabriel, who are recognized as "Mighty men of God."
